Peak to Peak 2001

Annual bike ride from Bear Mountain to Mammoth Lakes in support of the US Adaptive Recreation Center

In order to participate, each rider must raise at least $1000. Last year Peak 2 Peak 2K raised over $30,000 for the US Adaptive Recreation Center. As the commercial sponsors provide all of the supplies for the ride, and the volunteers donate their time, all proceeds flow directly to the USARC. I have signed on for the ride again this year and am actively soliciting donations. If you are in a position to support the USARC, please mail your donations (made out to USARC) to:

Ken Klein *** 17981 Hallcroft Lane *** Huntington Beach, CA 92647-6449

Where do pledges go?

Located at Big Bear Mountain Resort, the USARC is an independent nonprofit organization. While receiving substantial in-kind support from the ski resort, the USARC depends heavily on community support, donations and special events to meet its annual budget. Proceeds from the Peak to Peak Pedal are used to purchase specialized ski equipment, to train hundreds of volunteers, and to subsidize the cost of providing recreational opportunities to Southern California's disabled community. The USARC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deducible.

I will fill out the sponsorship form and mail your contribution directly to the USARC. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me - email
